My specialisms:
Medical. I have experience of translating medical reports, scientific and academic papers and clinical trial documentation.
Legal. Most of my legal work is contracts, with some court records thrown in. I also translate a lot of birth and marriage certificates, and (sadly) divorce papers.
Marketing. I have translated for high-end cosmetics brands, five-star hotels, department stores and a number of restaurants, as well as tourist destinations such as castles and areas of natural beauty.
Food. Recipes, menus and sometimes at the more basic level, documents for or about vineyards and breweries.
Literature. So far, I have translated four science-fiction novels, an academic monograph (all published) and chapters for other academic books (currently in press). I would be delighted to take on more literary work in these and other genres.
